Viatris, a popular antibiotic used for treating bacterial infections, has recently been recalled by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its recall of the prescription drug, Augmentin, after the FDA has warned it could be dangerous if not prescribed correctly.

The prescription drug, commonly prescribed for treating a variety of infections, has been recalled by the FDA because of the potentially harmful effect of Augmentin. The FDA has also asked the company to stop selling the drug and to inform customers that it is not authorized to dispense it. In addition, the FDA also asked that the company make certain changes to its product information, such as changing the label to warn about potential allergic reactions, as well as changing the medication’s labeling to include warning of liver damage.

The FDA issued a recall notice in response to concerns about the potential for an increase in the risk of liver damage from the use of Augmentin. The agency said that the company was “notifying all of our customers that there is an increased risk of liver injury with the use of Augmentin, and we are arranging for prompt action to address this issue.”

The FDA said it was concerned about a possible increased risk of liver injury in patients who received Augmentin with their drug, as well as patients who have had liver surgery after taking the drug. The agency also said that the agency had not identified any other drug companies that had a higher risk of liver damage with the use of Augmentin. However, the agency is not concerned about Augmentin’s potential for hepatotoxicity. “The risk of hepatotoxicity associated with Augmentin is relatively small, and the potential for increased liver injury in patients taking the drug is very low,” the FDA said in its notice.

The FDA has also asked the company to revise its product information, including the product labeling and packaging, to include warnings about liver damage. However, the company is not required to revise the information.

A follow-up recall notice, released in July, was issued on July 15 to ensure that the drug had been recalled.

The company, which has not yet been informed of the FDA’s findings, has not responded to email messages seeking comment.
